Have you ever read anything by Duane Crowther? Forty five years ago, Duane wrote the book, Prophecy: Key to the Future (SLC: Bookcraft Publishers, 1962).
He quotes from Ezekiel in chapter 7, “Growth and Development in Zion and Palestine After the Era of Universal Conflict,” and in chapter 8, “The Battle of Armageddon and Christ’s Appearance on the Mount of Olives.” Here are some highlights:
- He identifies “my servant David” in Ezekiel 34:23-24 as the new prince that will arise before the Battle of Armageddon, coming from the lineage of ancient King David and having the same name (179).
- After referencing Ezekiel 45:17, 46:2,12; 44:1-3; 45:7, 13-16, He writes about Prince David, “It appears, then that the David of the last days will hold both religious and political control over Palestine in the period just before the beginning of the Millennium and during the early days of that era. He will oversee the gathering of Israel and the construction of the Jerusalem temple, and will receive the Savior at the time of His coming toPalestine” (182).
- Footnoting I Nephi 5:5, Alma 46:23-24, and Ezekiel 48:1-5, Crowther explains, “Another important event which will apparently take place during this period following the universal conflict will be the removal of the Ten Tribes from an area near the New Jerusalem to the land of Palestine. Even though the Americas have been set apart as the land of inheritance for the descendants of Joseph, yet it appears that some from the tribes of both Manasseh and Ephraim will return to Palestine and settle there, as Ezekiel includes them in his apportionment of the land in Palestine in the last days” (182). With this LDS interpretation in mind, the “descendants of Joseph” can pick their preference for future living—Palestine or the continents of America. The Old Jerusalem or the New Jerusalem.
- His footnote on Ezekiel 37:15-27 is remarkable and very positive for me. “It seems that Ezekiel established the following events in chronological order: (1) the Ten Tribes will be largely united with Judah in the land of Palestine, (2) David the Prince will rule over them, (3) the temple will be built or ‘set in the midst of them,’ and (4) the heathen will come to a knowledge of the power of God by seeing the downfall of the forces of Gog in the battle of Armageddon. See Ezek. 37:15-28, 38:16” (185). There is no mention of a stick impersonating as the Book of Mormon.
- Quoting from the resource, Introduction To The Old Testament (New York: Harper & Brothers, 1948) by Robert H. Pfeiffer, Duane discusses the measurements of the land apportionments in Ezekiel 47 and 48.
- He shares Joseph Smith’s comment (HC, 5:337) on Ezekiel 47:1-8. The emphasis is original to the book. “Judah must return, Jerusalem must be rebuilt, and the temple, and water come out from under the temple, and the waters of the Dead Sea be healed. It will take some time to rebuild the walls of the city and the temple, &c.; and all this must be done before the Son of Man will make His appearance. There will be wars and rumors of wars, signs in the heavens above and on the earth beneath, the sun turned into darkness and the moon to blood, earthquakes in divers places, the seas heaving beyond their bounds: then will appear one grand sign of the Son of Man in heaven. But what will the world do? They will say it is a planet, a comet, &c. But the Son of Man will come as the sign of the coming of the Son of Man, which will be as the light of the morning cometh out of the east” (190). My response is that Israel will be blinded until the Son of Man appears. How can an earthly temple of pure worship exist in Jerusalem before the Second Coming. Chronologically, Ezekiel would support this after the Gog and Magog Invasion.
- Duane speculates on the identity of the evil axis of countries and their leader, Gog. After spotlighting the “Table of Nations” in Genesis 10, the author speaks on the countries in Ezekiel 38: “The reader will recognize that this list actually includes the people who live in the present nations of Turkey, Persia, Ehiopia, Libya, and the southern tip of Russia just above the Caspian Sea. It will be noted that in Ezekiel’s prophecy, Gog, the leader of the invaders, is identified by two clues which are seemingly of a conflicting nature. It appears that if Gog is to be an individual from the land of Magog (and Ezekiel’s language is too vague to determine this point without doubt), then he will be a Russian. However, the prophet’s repetition of the idea that Gog will be a chief prince of Meshech and Tubal would lend more credence to the thought that Gog will be a Turkish ruler. It is impossible to determine the matter for sure on the basis of the limited evidence now available” (199). And also please follow Duane’s persuasive footnote at the bottom of the page on distinguishing Ezekiel from Revelation: “It appears that in this instance the passage is not dealing with ‘the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth’ (see Revelation 20:8) or else it would seem that Ezekiel would probably have given indication of it. It should be recalled that most of the nations of Europe are expected to be in a collapsed condition and that the American continents will be largely under the control of the Kingdom of God. Many of the heathen nations will not participate in the Armageddon struggle, for Ezekiel records that ‘all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed’ after Gog and his forces are overcome. (Ezekiel 39:21-23). Nevertheless, the forces against Palestine are to be so great that Zechariah says ‘I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle.’ (Zech. 14:2)”
- And here is the final kicker to any evangelical. “Many people have understood that Christ’s coming on the Mount of Olives was his final coming in glory which would be seen by all men and which would cleanse the earth by fire. This is a mistaken assumption. Numerous events which are prophesied to follow Christ’s appearance indicate that his coming on the Mount of Olives is of a local nature with effects which are not typical of his final coming in glory:” (225). In the next chapter Duane deals with how “Christ’s Coming in Glory” is separate from “His coming to the temple in the New Jerusalem, His coming to the council at Adam-ondi-Ahman, and His appearance on the
Mount of Olives” (227). - I will ignore the White Horse Prophecy because I am assuming that most LDS don’t take seriously this prophecy by Joseph Smith.
I have noticed something about LDS prophesy. Orson Pratt seems to be more the expert on Israel than Joseph Smith. Why do I see Orson’s name rather than Joseph’s, popping up when it comes to the doctrine of end-time Israelology?

I didn’t realize this, Clark. Thanks. Of course, eschatological schemes can be quite controversial (millennial schemes) in conservative evangelicalism as well. My beliefs over prophetic detail range all the way from hermeneutical preference to what I hold dearly hold as Scripturally fundamental (for example, the rapture in contrast to the Lord’s Second Coming). Make sense?
It is worth noting that the controversy is severe enough that something pertaining to it was responsible for the seven year excommunication of a prominent LDS expert on Isaiah, apparently (as far as anyone can tell) for directly contradicting the published position of a recent apostle on the subject.
The real reason is anyone’s guess, of course. Gone are the days when First Presidency statements on the doctrinal problems with the work of prominent authors (even apostles – I am thinking of Orson Pratt here) were read from the pulpit in General Conference.
This may come as a surprise to everyone, but I know David. And you have some misconceptions about David’s future role.
For example, beginning June 12, 2012, when David is 33 years old, the Tribulation of seven years shall end. And fresh water shall become more valuable than oil.
For David and his uncle shall rule two world capitals, his uncle Joshua Israel shall rule the City of Zion at Independence, Missouri, and David Joseph shall rule Jerusalem. Both Joshua and David were baptized LDS, but David was raised up out place in a Catholic family. He inherited the music gifts of old King David, and David has been paid to performed at Catholic mass as a boy many times. And he has performed at the House of Blues as a leader singer. The Lord chose to hide David among the Catholics.
We come from an ancient lineage, our ancestors were always protected by the Knights Templars, and the Knights Templars became the Freemasons, and both the Knights Templars and Freemasons surrounded our ancestral land, called Templelands of Dunlop Temple. We never had to pay taxes, and anyone being chase by the kings officers that manage to get to our ancestral lands, were protected, and they could turn around an insult the king’s officers, for no one dare to arrest anyone on our holy land. It was a sanctuary.
A.J. Morton thinks we destroyed Christendom, and brought about the inquisition, because we are the holy grail and the Knights Templars sought to bring about unity among the Catholics, but there were some Bishops who wanted to destroy us, and that is why we went into the wilderness of Scotland, and that is why the largest cluster of Knights Templars properties, over 200 surround our property, Dunlop Temple.
My cousin went to England and met the “well respected researcher A. J. Morton who did his doctoral thesis on the KT and the Freemasons (Glasgow University) and how one sprung from the other. Kilwinning is the key, he believes,…. But according to A. J. the Gemmells were the pivot he based his thesis on. He is supposed to have a book out soon that will speak of the family Gemmell of Dunlop Temple.”

Prophet Kimball was told by God to send a group of men to bless David when he was born. His father a Catholic allowed him to be blessed at the LDS ward, which met at a public school on Sundays. This group of men said, “We have come to bless the child for he is special unto God and has a mission to do for the world.”
Well, it should be no surprise to Mormons that there is Smith in my family tree, yes, even Robert Smith is in my family tree. However it is the Lord who has been mixing the same bloodline throughout the ages. And it should be no surprise to the long line of Catholic Bishops that my cousins were the last of the Constantine line. And that my mother’s coat of arms has the Emperor’s Black Eagle on a gold field, for she is a direct descendant of the first Roman Catholic Emperor Karolus Magnus, who was of the direct lineage of the King of Ephraim. And my family motto for over a thousand years has been, “Crux – Hereditas Mea” – which means “My Heritage – Christ” And my family’s crest is the arms of the Lion of Judah, in a X shape, which is the Knights Templar’s cross.
I have already seen the New Jerusalem temple, and I have drawn pictures of it. And another temple which shall be built, the Adam-ondi-Ahman temple. Nobody in the LDS Church knows how to built a perfect temple, but I do. Both temples will be built before the Lord comes back in glory in April 2023, in fact they will be built in 2012. However, the Jerusalem temple will be built by David after the great battle of Armageddon June 12, 2012.
I think I have said enough for now, I hope that you are wise, and have wisdom to know what to ask me. If you have doubts and concerns, put me to the test, let’s see what it is that you know; okay? I have studied all my life, and there is nothing that the Lord shall make known to me about the mission of the Grail Kings.

Dear Gregory, you can be my friend if you share a love for the scripture like I do, for then we have something in common, but you can never be my friend if you mock the God of Israel. And if I be the servant in the hands of the Lord Our Righteousness, and you mock unintentionally then you mock God. How about I build the greatest temple in the world in Independence, Missouri, and test your priesthood power against my priesthood power? The winner will get to rule half the world, yes, you have your big chance! It will be built by 2012. And I have the design for this temple. And I will invited all major leaders of religion to this challenge. All they will have to do, is bring down the glory of the Lord, his flaming chariot, and make it rest in the center part of the temple, and have it radiate the colors of the rainbow throughout the North American skies. I will do, after all the leaders of all the major religion have failed. And they have only six days to do it, for I will do on Sunday, and the you shall know that I am approved of God. I think that you are very conceited, for you belong to a religion that was founded by my cousins who were the last of the Constantine line. Take for example the holy menorah, I was first to reveal the names of the Seven Spirits of God.
Noah, Moses, Elijah, David Joseph, Peter, Joseph Smith, Jr., and Joshua Israel; they are the seven eyes, the seven flames of truth, and the only ones called to establish the kingdom of heaven upon this earth.

Yes, it does:

And then you would say, Even so, it still does not mean that you know the names of the seven lights of the holy menorah, nor has God told you their names.

And I would say, If I told you what the scriptures say, would you then believe the bible? Why do you need me to tell you what the scriptures say, have you not studied the word of God to know? For I would that you believe if not me, then the Lord who inspired the scriptures for the benefit of man, but if ye will not believe me, neither would ye believe the heavens if an angel came down and told you himself.

I surf looking for intelligent posts like yours. I grew up reading Duane S. Crowther books. Prophecy: Key to the Future had very direct impact upon my life.

I wrote to an LDS elder who had a website and was being watched by the LDS Church. He was asking for help in placing future events in chorological order.
I was just responding to his request, much like I am doing to yours, since I had read Duane Crowther’s two books on future events, “Prophecy: Key to the Future” and “Inspired Prophetic Warnings” – And because I had some knowledge of my own which I had gathered from having read LDS books.
Also, know that I found Duane’s book “Life everlasting” that people who had cross over and came back to tell about the heavens very informative.
Well to answer your question, after having written to the website seeking help to order future events, I used Duane Crowther’s works on the future events which he charted well on the inside covers, I thought I would add some things which I had received as personal inspiration from God about which Duane had only touched upon.
Know that I had sent by email, my new revelation that had to do with whom the Lord hands were upon, who it was that our majestic God was going to use in the world to bring about world peace. Know, that I received a mysterious email, it said, “We intercepted your email, and your letter was sent to the twelve; and I want you to know that this website is being watched, for he is dealing in controversial matters.
In my new revelation I spoke about the Seven Eyes being seven seers, and how that represented the holy menorah, and how this stone of revelation was the seer stone that God would build his Kingdom of Heaven upon. And I explained how the world wanted to use a capstone with one eye to build their New World Order, but that one eye was NOT the seven eyes of God’s seer stone. And that the one eye was the Kingdom of Satan wanting to place Satan as the one overseer of the world, for that one eye was the Man of Sin, and that this great Anti-Christ would seek to bring honor the god of power, which was money. And that the Lord would never establish his kingdom with a one eye capstone as found on the US dollar bill. Neither would the Lord use the United Nations to be his tool in bring peace, for the UN has never once acknowledged the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. I told him that the Lord would never use the Democratic or Republican Parties, for they were just like the Sadducees and Pharisees of the past, for they go to war with one another, and vow never to unite.
And, nothing negative ever came back from the twelve, so I took it to mean that their silence meant approval. Therefore, I knew I was not running from the light, but calling upon the same God.
As for members in my local ward, they become perplexed and uncomfortable with me. I remember going to see the Bishop, and he would not allow me to open the bible, but he wanted to open the bible and show me what he knew. I told him fine, but it’s strange that you do to me, what you do not allow me to do for you. It’s fine, show me what you know. Let’s see what you know. And then his countenance changed and he seemed perplexed and confused. Yes, I told him the golden rule was “do unto other as you would have them do unto you.” To which, he realized his error in forbidding me to open the scriptures.
So, I presented unto him a way in which he could confirm who had more of God’s light and knowledge – I told him what to say to his Counselors in Bishopric, and then I reveal to him what his Counselor’s answer would be. And if his Counselor gave exactly the answer I said he would say, then it was proof to him that God was more with me, and the priesthood worked more mightily within me than him, and that if I were right, he should then stop being the Bishop within a month, and allow someone more spiritual to take his place, for God would hold him accountable.
That Bishop stopped being a bishop after one month.
So, I find jealousy to be common within the ward members, they all want to be God’s light unto the world, that they all get easily offend went some comes along who does indeed have the rights to hold the scepter of the Lord’s power for the convincing of men of truth. And instead of being my support in the faith, they seem to want to kill my spirit and challenge me without end.
So, not having a contentious spirit, when they use unrighteous dominion upon me, for it is not in my natures to want to force my opinions upon others, or reveal things they cannot accept. I often remain silent before others in the wards, for I care about their future, and do not want to be the cause of their downfall.
Man cannot progress faster than he has a willing heart. I find this to be true now as in the early days of the church, that man still continues to worship our God with lip service, and their heart are removed from the real powers of heaven. If I come in the name of the Lord and say, I have talked with angels, and I have even had to confronted the Devil himself, and I have had Jesus visited with me next to Temple Square, all of this will make others extremely jealous, as the scriptures reveal, I am going to be someone that the world wonders at, for the power of heaven are going to be manifested in my affairs.
Now, having said this much, I also want you to know that when I meet Prophet Kimball, it was completely different, Prophet Kimball’s eyes lit up, and his countenance was that of an holy man. Prophet Kimball, looked at me, and would not let go my hand, I could see in his expression, that my countenance resembled the Lord’s, that I somehow resembled the Lord unto him.
Yes, I remember well that day we meet, for I had asked God to bring the prophet to New Orleans, and the ward elder asked me to come and protect the Prophet. I said, “I am just a boy, what can I do?” The elder said, “If God’s wants, he can make you into a Samson.” Then, I said, “I will go.” For Samson was my favorite story as a small child, I went everywhere telling everyone of a God who could make man one with him, strong and mighty. As I stood there watching everyone rush up to the vehicle approaching the Stake Center that had the prophet. I just stood my ground and said a silent prayed unto God, and said, “If it be thy will, bring the prophet unto me.” And out of the whole crowd, some getting in line twice to shake his hand twice, hoping for a double blessing, I just stood there frozen in the distance, for I did not want it to be my will, but my Father’s in Heaven, for I was not going to worship God with my lips, but believe in his power to answer my prayers.

Well, to my surprise, the Stake President who stood beside the prophet’s, upon seeing me in the distance alone, knowing that I came from an honorable and just parentage, brought our prophet to meet me, and only I was given the honors of having a prophet brought to meet with me that day. And I also meet his two Counselors after meeting the prophet. The Prophet blessing upon me lasted a long time, five or ten minutes. And all I could say to him was, “Nice to see you again my brother, my president, my prophet.”
Yes, I will always remember Prophet Kimball, meeting with me. And I still don’t know the things he told me, for his voice was very low, and you could hardly hear his words. But as he talked, I was asking God questions, and my main line of questioning was, “Lord am I being deceived or do I really have a part to play in thy coming kingdom of heaven.” I remember giving Prophet Kimball the temple handshake, which has never been taught to me before, but I had my hand move by itself, and he responded in kind.
Now, the Stake President knew me well, he was a doctor, and two of his son became student presidents at BYU. This Stake President was at attendance at a special meeting when they blessed my nephew David when he was born. He was presented to the LDS church with his father permission, since his father was a Catholic. Unknown to his father I had asked God in mighty prayer to send the future king of Israel to my sister. My nephew is the BRANCH that grew from root of the Stem of Jesse.
The Prophet Kimball sent a group of men down to New Orleans, and they were there for the child’s blessing at church, and the Stake President was also there at this meeting. Yes, they had a special meeting about this child, and talk along time about the child’s mission. For no one could touch him until after the meeting. They said, “We have come to bless the child for he is special unto God and has a mission to do for the world.” Yes, Brother Wood, this is why no one high up in the LDS Church will speak evil of me, for God speaks to them, and they know that I am in the Lord’s hands. For I never told anyone what I asked God to do, and how to you explain that my silent prayer went answer by the LDS Church and the sent a group of men to bless the child without anyone have said anything to them?
It’s because the same God who is in my affairs, is at work at within the LDS Church that is why.

Yes, I was born in December 56, (1956), and so was Father Noah, he was born in 56, (1056). And if you add 56 years to the year I was born you have the year 2012, you will then know that Tribulation will have ended in June 12, with the resurrection of Joseph Smith as the crowning victory in December 2012. Noah made the ark out of gopher wood — Louisiana is full of cypress wood (gopher wood). And Joseph Smith revealed that Enoch the great-grandfather of Noah live where the Gulf of Mexico now stands, and if Adam lived in Missouri, and Enoch where the Gulf of Mexico now stands, if we draw a straight line between Adam-ondi-Ahman where Adam lived, to the center of the Gulf of Mexico, then you can see that New Orleans would be just in the right spot of for Noah to have been raised up to build the ark. And like the bible reveals the lasts days are just like the days of Noah.
Now, I too had a wonderful birth like Father Noah, for when Noah was born they thought he was a child of the gods. I also, had a birth like Noah’s. I was born a perfect baby, beautiful at birth, the whole talk of the hospital, even the doctor told my mother, “Your baby is beautiful, and I am not just saying that, for your child indeed is beautiful, I have never seen a child more beautiful.” Yes all the nurses came to see my glory, even the German woman next to my mother’s bed said, “That child belongs in my family, he too beautiful to be your child.”

Know that when I was six years old I was confronted by Satan himself. Satan crushed my right heel to the very bone. However, I was the first in history of the world to have had the Devil use his very own hands, he should have used a human proxy, but he didn’t, and God told him from the beginning that the day would come when he over stepped his authority and he would bruise the heel of a child, and that child would rise up to lead the priesthood in placing Satan away for a thousand years of peace. I thank God for manifesting his power by answering my prayer, yes, I can get what I need from God just my praying. It is a gift that comes to the direct lineage of the Holy Grail. I also asked the Lord for many other things, and the last thing I asked … “I can only reveal here, only by personal letter.”
Now, David was born on the 12th in honor of the twelve tribes of Israel, he will be 33 years old in 2012, and our Lord Jesus Christ ended his mission on earth when he was 33 years old, and the future King David is the proxy of the Lord Our Righteousness, he will continue where the Lord left off, if the Lord left off at 33 years of age, the future King David will start his mission at the age of 33. June 12, 2021 marks the end of the Tribulation, and a time when the kingdoms of this world shall have become the kingdoms of our Lord. And the Ancient of Day will help bring it about, for Gemmell surname in Scotland means “Ancient” and we are the direct descendant of the first Grail King, Father Adam. The Lord will appear in glory in 2023. I will stop now, before I make everything known, for there many who will read my post, not wanting to believe, that will seek to make trouble. However, I have received the promise from God that he will empty the earth as he did in the days of Noah, if the world combines against the Holy Grail family again.

According to Zechariah’s prophecy about Joshua, Joshua was not going to be active in any branch, ward or stake, but don’t miss understand me, I truly wants to be active, but there are devils within my ward resisting my efforts, just like Judas Iscariot resisted the Truth in the days of Jesus Christ.
Judas was a devil who was held a high office within the church, the office of Apostleship, so it should not surprise us that Joshua’s branch president is a devil, a businessman who thinks the whole bible is symbolic, and not to be taken literally.
Satan has had his agents within the church throughout Joshua’s existence upon this earth, and just like in the days of Jesus Christ, when Jesus was in charge of the church, a devil called Judas held a high office within the church. Today our church’s policy for allowing devils to hold high places within the church is no different today. I have lost count of how many businessmen that held positions that were not spiritual leaders. And I have been told that even within the temples there are no ways to keep out a thief or liar, they can manage to get themselves in. It is taught by the LDS Church that Latter-day Sanits plotted the murder of Joseph Smith within the temple.

So, does it make any difference if I attend church meetings? Yes, I think it does! It would mean that I cannot be Joshua of Zechariah’s prophecy, for according to Prophet Zechariah this Joshua will be hated, rejected, and become the suffering servant whom the Lord will give power and wisdom to judge the House of God. Yes, a great spirit can learn to be just and merciful with others when raised up being surrounded by priesthood injustice and gentile cruelty in his life. Believe me, I can write books on the injustice of church elders, and the cruelty of humans against the Lord’s anointed.
You should read carefully Zechariah chapter 3. It says, (Zech. 3:1-2)“And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?” Clearly this Joshua was plucked out of the fire of hell – it did not say he was plucked out of the ward/Stake, clearly Joshua was going to be rejected by the Devil’s agents within the ward, and I would not fulfill Zechariah’s prophecy on Joshua, if it were not so, but I do fulfill the prophecy of Zechariah chapter three, and of Isaiah chapter 53, (Isaiah 53:1-3) “ Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form or comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.” Yes, the prophet Isaiah describes my life perfectly, and it doesn’t surprise me one bit that I will be rejected the same as those that came before me, the Jews rejected Jesus, the gentiles rejected Joseph Smith, and now the Latter-day Saints must rejected Joshua Gemmell. Things never change, but in the future when the Holy Ghost is born in the flesh, the church will reject him also. However, God has provided a blessing during my rejection by the Latter-day Saints, the Lord has prepared the Lost Tribes of Israel to become my backers, for they will come in search of me and my nephew in late 2011 or early 2012. God has kept the Lost Tribes separated from the world for a good reason, so there would be a body of people ready to build up Zion in America. Yes, the Lost Tribes of Israel are a body of people who will draw nigh unto God, and not deny His power. Today, the so called Latter-day Saints worship God with their lips, but deny the power of God within their hearts. However, the Lost Tribes of Israel are supported by the power of God, and they will not deny God’s power, for it is by God’s power they shall come forth out of Alaska’s Lynn Canal in search of their Grail Kings. And these two future Grail Kings will have the 144,000 newly appointed gods, as St. John revealed in the Book of Revelation, and there shall be no other plans given for establishing the kingdom of heaven upon this earth, but just the one layout in the scriptures.
This government of God calls for the establishing of ruling body of seven seers, who will all be priests and kings. God has given me their names, Noah, Moses, Elijah, David, Peter, Joseph, and Joshua. Therefore, nowhere in the standard works does it say that the LDS Church shall rule the world, but that the government of God will be established when there are seven seers born, and so far there has only been five seers born in this world that have risen to great stature or power, Noah, Moses, Elijah, Peter, and Joseph Smith, Jr..
The word of God reveals that seven seers are required, as it is revealed in the design of the menorah, and the coming forth of Joshua and David in the last days would complete the ruling body of seven seers that were to come. And then shall the Ancient of Days shall come to set up the 144,000 newly appointed gods, and this will quicken the pace of events, and bring this world under the rule of seven seers.

My opinion is that Latter-day Saint Doctrine is special knowledge passed down to us from others who had special understanding. How did they get that special understanding, was it from their personal experiences confronting Satan or by having special revelations given to them about Satan?
I think it is a completely different level of understanding once you have had personal encounters with Satan. I know about the doctrines that say Satan was, is, and will forever remain a spirit in this universe, but I had to put these childish doctrine way after I had a few personal encounters with Satan himself. Our prophets have written much about the heavens, yet according to Joseph Smith, you could looking into heavens for five minutes it would reveal more to your minds than all the books ever written on the subject.
Yes, if you and I could gaze into heaven, we would not disagree about heaven, and the same can be said about church doctrines or revelations, it is all a work in progress, we must continue to added upon the Latter-day Saint Doctrines. So, if we take all the former works of the prophets, and add our personal experiences, we would have a better view.
For example, I know from reading the works of St. Luke that Jesus had a personal encounter with Satan, and I also know from that personal encounter Jesus had with Satan, that Satan was able to transport Jesus to a very high mountain top, and that Satan also carry Jesus to the top of the Jerusalem Temple.
So why should you find it impossible for Satan to move two trailers hitched together just a few inches, when Satan was able to move Jesus from the desert to top of a high mountain, and then to the top of the Jerusalem Temple?
Yes, I had personal encounters with Satan a few times, and I had to add upon the teachings of the Latter-day Saint Doctrine about Satan after I had my these few encounters.
“And the devil, taking (Jesus) up into a high mountain, showed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto (Jesus), All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.”
“And (Satan) [then] brought (Jesus) to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: For it is written, (God) shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.”
(D&C 129:8) Also, the Latter-day Saints doctrine about detecting an evil spirit is the following….
(D&C 129:8) “If it be the devil [appearing] as an angel of light, when you ask him to shake hands he will offer you his hand, and you will not feel anything; you may therefore detect him.”
Yes, D&C 129 is official church doctrine, but like I said before, we have to add the former teachings by St. Luke about Jesus being carried to the top of a high mountain, and then the top of the Jerusalem Temple by Satan, and then I had to add my personal experiences with Satan. In my case, I am well read, and knew about St. Luke teachings about Satan carrying Jesus to the top of the Jerusalem Temple, I also had a few personal encounters with Satan. Therefore, I can tell you that you can forget about shaking hands with Satan, for he is not going to let you hold his hands long enough for you to detect that he does not have a a physical body temperature, “warm body”, that’s right, Satan never had a physical body of his own so he doesn’t know how to fake body temperature. And from all my personal experiences I can tell you that Satan appears very solid in appearance, and he will shape-shifter into any human form that he pleases. In my case, he did not frighten me, but was very gentle. I suppose that scaring me is not going to work in his favor, so he is going to be very gentle when trying to convince me to do something. Yes, one time when I meet Satan in public I gave him some money, and he took it just like a solid physical person would have taken the money. In fact, even you cannot tell if Satan is sitting in front of you at the LDS church meetings, unless you actually touch him. Yes, it is pointless for us to being talking about what Satan can and cannot do if we have never had an evil spirits appear solid before. I could tell you more, but I will just end by telling you that you need to understand that there is a big difference between a demon and a devil. A demon is an evil spirit without a physical body, but a devil is an evil spirit in possession of a physical body! Satan is call the Devil, because he is always in possession of some else’s physical body, and while he does not have his own physical body, that in itself does not mean that he is not possession of someone’s else physical body.
The “Man of Sin” in the bible is a good example of Satan being in control of someone’s physical body. Many think that the Man of Sin is alive today.
Once again, my story reveals that two trailers hitched together were moved by Satan just a few inches, and as the trailers moved my heel was caught in between the two hitches, as I was walking from one trailer to the other one, but it was the trailer hitches that did the actual crushing and injure to my heel, but then again it was Satan that cause the trailers to move.

What has your profession been? And why wasn’t the priesthood allowed to be given to Blacks until President Kimball’s revelation?
Also I think that your prophetic abilities will enable you to answer a question of mine for which I have struggled to find the answer- What should i do for a living? what career should i pursue? The answer to this is very important to me.

Our church youth director wrote a paper this weekend, entitled “Frederick Douglass: Escaped Slave to Refined and Passionate Social Advocate.”
Douglass wrote about American Christianity – “I love the pure, peaceable (sic) and impartial Christianity of Christ; I therefore hate the corrupt, slaveholding, women-whipping, cradle plundering, partial and hypocritical Christianity of this land.”
Beau concluded the end of his paper by saying, “May it never be, that this type of behavior toward human beings would be freely allowed by governments, and even justified by Christianity. And, may destructive and barbaric treatment of people be exposed everywhere so that humanity may return toa place of honor as being made in God’s image.”

I am sure all four men that you mentioned, if they were sitting with us, would have sharply exhorted us that some of our banter was outside the boundaries of the great Western Tradition. And I would argue with them on certain issues.

HOWEVER, Mormonism comes into existence partly in continuity with Calvinism, largely in reaction to it. In that piece I wrote some years ago, which I link below, I argue that Mormonism was able to get off the ground because it never encountered non-reformed (or even, semi-reformed, as in Lutheranism or Anglicanism), Apostolic Christianity of any sort, and it certainly NEVER encountered Orthodoxy, until long after it was well-established, sitting pretty in Utah and SE Idaho.
Orthodoxy is the only real antidote for Mormonism…

Well, Todd: Christ indeed comes to His people NOW, not “in glory to judge the living and dead” as he will do at the Parousia, but here and now, in the Liturgy, to feed His people and quench their thirst with his own Body and Blood.
If I am wrong about the religious encounters thing, Todd, please enlighten me. I have found no evidence to suggest that there was any substantial contact with either Roman Catholic clergy or any Orthodox people, clergy or laity at all, from the time that Smith founded the LDS until some point after Brigham Young and company had settled in Salt Lake, and I am aware of no real engagement with the early LDS and Lutherans or Anglicans either.
Rereading, I misunderstood some your parameters. Yep, I do think you are right, Greg, on any subtantial contact with RC or Orthodox.
