I have enjoyed Jacob, Geoff, and Blake’s questions in a current thread over at the New Cool Thang. I am always thankful for discussion beyond the superficial. I am also thankful they take the time to interact with me. As some would say in the world of blogging. Cheers!
Jeff has asked about some good stuff in Hebrew 1.
And maybe, the backyard professor and I can do some parallel blogging on the upcoming Dead Sea Scroll exhibit in our hometown. But will he appreciate the perspective of a Christian fundamentalist, one who takes the Bible at face value?
Here is the post I just posted on my webblog my friend – GOOD to meet you and find you on the net!

Kerry:
Hi neighbor! We definitely will have to do some parallel blogging on the scrolls and the LDS and Christian traditions. I am very glad to meet you on the net! We simply HAVE to do lunch now ya know…… I am learning biblical Hebrew and Greek, and would absolutely *love* to study the scriptures with you……….
Kerry, I noticed you have already jumped the gun on me with all your posts on the Dead Sea Scrolls. I will need to get a hold of John’s book.
The I.F museum has an introductory meeting today at 2:00 p.m. on upcoming exhibit. Will you be there?
Let’s plan on lunch sometime, though it will have to be after the Christmas season.
THANKS for the heads up! I’m on the way right now. It’s 1:30. Maybe we can meet and say hi.
Best,
Kerry
I just got back from the meeting. It was very nice to meet you. I think we ought to put together a few seminars of our own on the scrolls and have an inter-faith dialogue at your church or something. That would be nifty to do. I look forward to studying more Greek with you and studying the Bible with you. I get a good spirit about you, and am looking forward to a long and enjoyable friendship with you, you fellow Idahoan you!
Best,
Kerry
