On this Lord’s Day in New York City, I have been reading Isaiah 9.
Here is a verse that pops out.
“The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.”
May we not be sinfully prideful in strategizing apart from God.
O God, preserve us from Israel’s ancient motto. We need You.
