Beauty and The Beast: A Latter-Day Tale

Candlelight Media Group, Inc. in association with 2B Films presents “Beauty and The Beast: A Latter-Day Tale” (2007).

I watched it.  But I don’t know if I would give it even a one star rating.

I will wait to see how other 2B Films progress.

But if you are interested in an extraordinary “Beauty and the Beast” production, come to Idaho Falls.  It opens tonight in the Civic Auditorium.  The nights are quickly becoming sold-out.  Get your tickets soon.

In this fabulous Southeastern Idaho production, the beautiful Belle is my sister-in-law, Lynda Meissner.

But if you think she is an Idaho gem, you ought to meet my wife.

I publicly give my heartfelt thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Grothaus in Idaho Falls for their job in rearing three fantastic daughters.

  1. Nice article in The Shelley Pioneer newspaper (June 21, 2007):

“Former Shelley graduate to lead cast of Beauty and the Beast”

    nice picture, too.

    Thanks.

  2. I am attending tonight with my family the Sound Choir 30th Annual Summer Musical – “Beauty and the Beast.” Obtaining a 50-page, glossy program booklet, I located the life sketch on my sister-in-law, Lynda (Belle).

    The editors write:

”Lynda Meissner is an Idaho Falls local. She started in theater nearly twenty years ago on this very stage in Carmen and has been in various plays since. She graduated from Shelly High School and went on to get her Bachelor of Arts in Guidance and Counseling from B.J.U. in South Carolina. She is currently a fitness instructor at Apple Athletic Club. She spends most of her time with her two energetic sons Michael (6) and Ethan (4) and her INL firefighter husband David. She thanks God, her “hubby”, and her parents for this great opportunity!”

My little girls, Hannah Marie (8) and Mariah Noelle (7) can hardly wait to dress up in their ball-room princess dresses and get a picture on the big Civic Auditorium stage with their auntie. My two boys . . . well, one day they just might have big hairy chests like Gaston.
