An LDS wife and her family attended this past Sunday morning at our church.  And she just made this remark to my wife here at the house a couple hours ago.

Yes, I do get passionate!

But I don’t even come close to the passion of Isaiah’s prayer in Isaiah 63:15-Isaiah 64.

He is telling God that all of the righteousnesses of his people are nothing more than a pile of blood-stained menstrual rags.

I know we are in the midst of a big rock star celebration with the ongoing National Democratic Convention in Denver.

But I am not celebrating.  What does God think of America’s “righteousnesses” in 2008?
