Glorification involves the cross
Last Sunday, we meditated on the words of Jesus:
Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
There is so much we learn about the Son and so much we learn about the Father. But we haven’t even begun to plummet the depths of God’s glory.
“O when we view God’s grand design,
To save rebellious worms,
How vengeance and compassion join
In their sublimest forms.
Our thoughts are lost in rev’rent awe–
We love and we adore;
The first archangel never saw
So much of God before!
Here each Divine perfection joins,
And thought can never trace,
Which of the glories brightest shines–
The justice or the grace.”
