Pornography is a troublesome issue in Southeastern Idaho.
Dr. Donald L. Hilton, Jr. is speaking in a Citizens for Decency community conference – Visual Addiction: Pornography and the Brain – with the Idaho Falls segment at Taylorview Jr. High School Auditorium, 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., November 14, 2009. He and his wife, Jana, currently serve as LDS Family Services PASG (pornography addiction support group) Program Coordinators for San Antonio, Texas for those who struggle with pornography and sexual addiction and their spouses. They are the parents of five children and two grandchildren. Dr. Hilton is a renowned neurosurgeon and the author of the LDS book, He Restoreth My Soul.
You can pick up a free ticket at www.cfdec.org or any Southeast Idaho Deseret Book Store.
I plan on dropping in to hear what Don has to say.
As a sidenote (not pornographic but bordering on the swimsuit variety), the LDS community has another cultural stir.
