I think that’s a rather disrespectful and narrow-minded comment, Nellie. A man or woman should not necessarily be defined by the status or location of his or her institution.
I, for example, graduated from an small, unaccredited college. I have since taught Cambridge secondary curriculum and instructed students who have gone on to Oxford.
White has done enough work in his field that he should be taken seriously.

Besides, scholary elitism mixed with theology is a travesty.
