Prayer in Idaho Falls (7)

From today’s Bible reading . . .

Ever feel this way?

Even when I cry and shout, He shuts out my prayer.” (Lam. 3:8)

Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come to You.  Do not hide Your face from me in the day of my trouble; Incline Your ear to me: In the day that I call, answer me speedily” (Psalm 102:1-2)

Anchor your heart with this:

Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.  They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.  “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!”  The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.  It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.  It is good for a man to bear the yoke in his youth” (Lam. 3:22-27).
