I don’t know how many in the I-15 Corridor have ever explored the particular relationship between Bob Jones Sr. (fundamentalist) and Bill Graham (evangelical). But Justin Taylor provides a little window for you today.

Astounding. Historical revisionism at its worst.
One cannot discuss the rupture between Billy Graham and the Jones’ without also talking about racial segregation. As early as 1956, all of Graham’s crusades, including those in the South, were integrated at his insistence.
As late as when? The 1980’s?, BJU still prohibited interracial dating in its student body. Then, there is that infamous quote from Bob Jones, Sr. about his preferring to see, uh, an AFRICAN-AMERICAN in the White House over a Roman Catholic (of course, he used a term quite different than “African-American”).
We are only looking in one window, Greg. You bring up another window to peer in.
