Should I be worried today – September 16, 2008?
I would be worried if I was trusting in John McCain to be my savior.

I don’t know if you saw McCain’s acceptance speech or not. What really astounded me was how he talked about his “country” as being his “savior”.
Nope, I didn’t hear that.
My wife did tell me that yesterday morning McCain said our country was not in financial recession. (I laughed and laughed.)
He is wearing rose colored glasses in looking at his savior.
Politics.
Hmmm.
I pray for those who are looking to America to be their savior.
Ah yes, the religion of nationalism.
You know, it always bugs me how politicians (both parties) will always close by saying “and God bless America.”
It seems awfully presumptuous to me. I would prefer “and may American stand with God.”
Doubt I’d get elected with lines like that though.
