Implications of the Believers’ Unity with the Father and Son – part 17
Frederic shares these fourteen implications from John’s Gospel. They are marvelous.
1. The Son loves His own as the Father has loved the Son. As the Father have loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love (15:9).
2. Believers will do the works that the Son did, and even greater works. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (14:12).
3. What the believer asks in the Son’s name, He will do. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (14:13).
4. The Son will ask the Father to sent another Comforter. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (14:16, 26).
5. Believers are in the Son and the Son in them as the Son is in the Father and the Father in the Son. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you (14:20).
6. The believer who loves the Son will be loved of the Father. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and will come unto him, and make our abode with him (14:21, 23).
7. To be a fruitful disciple of the Son is to glorify the Father. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples (15:8).
8. What the believer asks of the Father in the Son’s name, the Father will do it. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whosoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you (15:16).
9. There will come a day when the believer will ask of the Father directly and not in the Son’s name. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you (16:23, 26).
10. The Father loves the believer who loves the Son and who believes that the Son came from the Father. For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God (16:27).
11. Believers are to be one as the Father and Son are one. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are . . . That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me (John 17:11,21).
12. Believers are to behold the glory the Son has with the Father. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world (17:24).
13. The Son’s Father is the believer’s God. Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God (20:17).
14. As the Father has sent the Son, so the Son sends the believer into the world. Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you (20:21).
Holiness to the LORD and his wife

Fundamentalist Christians are not happy?
(Chuckling) I would think that the LDS Heavenly Mother is not very happy. How many years is it going to take before an LDS prophet or apostle has the courage to start sharing to America her words?
At least ancient groups honestly and openly worshipped their goddesses. Due equality to the sexes, right?
